FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A day of shelling and searching for treasures at Bowditch Point Park gave a woman more than she bargained for.
On October 17, 2016, West District Deputies made contact with a victim that wanted to file a report for a past occurred indecent exposure. The victim told deputies that on September 26, 2016, she was shelling at Bowditch Point Park when an unknown male exposed himself and started masturbating. The victim moved to different locations and he continued to follow her.
The victim returned to the Bowditch Point Park again on October 17th and observed the same male there, only this time he was not exposing himself. The victim called the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and deputies responded. A thorough investigation was completed and the victim was able to identify the suspect.
Subsequently, Earle Nevel as arrested Tuesday for Aggravated Stalking and Indecent Exposure.
