LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. -- Deputies have arrested a man accused of firing two gunshots while on drugs at a 7-Eleven store last week.

49-year-old John Hall of North Fort Myers told investigators this week that he was high on methamphetamines during two shooting incidents in Lehigh Acres on December 30th.

According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, deputies were reportedly flagged down by a victim claiming a man shot into his car near the 7-Eleven on Lee Boulevard at Gunnery Road around 6:30 that night.  Deputies observed Hall walking under the store's overhang and firing one round into the gas station's metal roof.

Thankfully, no one was hurt.

Hall now faces multiple weapons charges, including discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and criminal mischief.
