Naples Botanical Garden hosts Lego art display

Posted

NAPLES, Fla. -- A traveling exhibit that displays enchanting nature-inspired sculptures made with Lego bricks will go on display in Naples starting this weekend.

The Naples Botanical Garden will host Nature Connects, Art with Lego Bricks, from January 15th through April 10th.

Each piece is designed and created by artist Sean Kenney, the world’s first LEGO® certified professional, and these one of a kind creations are built with nearly 400,000 Lego bricks.

The show consists of several sculptures built with Lego bricks that create fifteen individual displays and can be seen throughout the Garden.  The sculptures range in size from six inches to almost eight feet, and promote the importance of ecosystems and how all living things are connected.

Admission to Lego in the Garden is included with regular Garden admission ($14.95 for adults, $9.95 for kids ages 4-14 and free for kids 3 and under as well as Naples Botanical Garden members).
