A Naples man is among 18 suspects charged in "Operation April's Fools" - an undercover investigation in Polk County targeting online child predators.

Larry Treharn Jr., 33, is accused of trying to meet with who he believed to be a 14-year-old girl.

In the sting, several men drove to a house in Polk County to follow through with arrangements made online to take part in sexual activity with underage teens. The men were arrested instead.

According to the arrest report by the Polk County Sheriff's Office, Treharn admitted to using his iPhone to chat with a girl who told him she was 14, and admitted that the explicit chats he engaged in were accurate.

Treharn is charged with 6 felonies, including lewd or lascivious conduct and use of a computer to seduce a child. Police said they also found a loaded firearm in the vehicle he used to drive to Polk County from Naples.
