It's mid-August, but that hasn't stopped the retail industry from looking at how it expects Black Friday shopping to fare this coming November.

No longer do people wait to peruse printed circular ads and wait until the day after Thanksgiving dinner to get deals. Online retailers have forced a change in the game — deals start much earlier, typically a week out, and that means brick and mortar stores have them, too.

Earlier this month, the website blackfriday.fm released Amazon Black Friday 2016 predictions. Amazon is the powerhouse online retailer — the largest in the world, offering several days of discounts and fast delivery of purchases.

This year, the retailer will likely kick off its annual Black Friday Deals Week on Friday, Nov. 18. It includes limited-time lightning deals.

Here's what blackfriday.fm has to say about Amazon's deals in November:

"The most popular deal categories include TVs, smartphones, and gaming devices, while other hot deals include Amazon's own devices like the Echo and the Kindle Fire. Amazon devices see major price drop from the start of Deals Week and into Cyber Monday."

The website said it expects the top deals to include:

Amazon Fire TVfor $69.99
Amazon Echo for $139
Amazon Fire Tabletsfor $35 and up
Kindlebundles at up to $40 off
Laptops at $100 off and more
TV deals starting at less than $100
Clothesand accessories at 30-percent off
Top toysup to 50-percent off

The free shipping benefit will likely start with purchases of $49 and more, the website predicts. People who are Amazon Prime members will see the greatest deals and shipping options, including one- and two-hour delivery in select cities.
