COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — The Collier County Sheriff's Office is warning the public about scams related to the Coronavirus.
They say scammers are sending emails, texts, and creating social media posts about fake cases.
Asking for donations for unproven treatments, vaccines, or they contain malicious attachments.
To make sure you are getting accurate information, check with the Florida Department of Health or the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
