SARASOTA, Fla. — You may have heard reports of a partial lockdown at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. FOX 4 called the hospital and a spokesperson says the hospital is not on any lockdown at all.
A spokesperson for the Sarasota Memorial Hospital said via email, "We have and will continue to test any patients that meet CDC criteria."
Two sisters in Hillsborough County tested positive for the virus this week.
The sisters traveled to Italy and now are being isolated in Florida.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is reporting more than 80 cases in the United States, with 13 states reporting them.
