Voting sites for the 2018 General Election open on Monday for Lee, Charlotte, Hendry, and Desoto counties.
In order to vote in this election, you must have registered by October 9th. Lee Co. voting locations are open Monday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Hendry County locations are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The League of Women Voters in Lee County is holding an amendments forum Monday morning from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Grand Cypress Room at Shell Point in Fort Myers. They'll go over the 12 proposed amendments on the General Election ballot and give you details on what a "yes" or "no" vote would mean for each. You can also find that information, here.
The Lee County NAACP is also holding voter protection training on Monday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Southwest Florida Enterprise Center. This week, they'll help those who need rides to the polls. For more information, click here.
