Gander Mountain is closing 32 stores after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy this week.
The outdoor retailer, which operates 162 stores in 26 states, will shutter 32 "underperforming" stores "in the next several weeks," according to a statement. The company is apparently also putting itself up for sale.
The statement from Gander Mountain doesn't list which stores will close but a report from Youngstown, Ohio's WFMJ says the closings will affect locations across 11 states.
WFMJ reported that stores in Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia and Wisconsin will be closed.
