IKEA reannounced a recall Tuesday of chests and dressers after news emerged of the death of an eighth child.

Questions have mounted regarding whether IKEA has properly recalled the products.

The latest death involves a California toddler who was found trapped underneath an IKEA Malm dresser in May, according to The Associated Press. The Consumer Product Safety Commission reported that eight children under the age of three have been killed after an IKEA dresser fell on them.

The first of the deaths happened 28 years ago with the other seven occurring since 2002, according to the CPSC.

The recall is for children's chests and drawers taller than 23.5 inches and adult chests and dressers taller than 29.5 inches. Those with an impacted piece of furniture can get a refund with free pick-up or a free anchoring kit with a free install. For more information on the recall, click here

The company tweeted on Tuesday to reissue the recall.
