Tim Tebow has found a baseball home.

Tebow has inked a minor-league deal with the New York Mets, the team confirmed in a tweet on Thursday morning. ESPN football writer Adam Schefter broke the news.

Tebow made his sports name serving as the quarterback for the Florida Gators and later leading the Denver Broncos to a playoff win.

Tebow, a high school baseball player, did a tryout for MLB teams. Tebow is 29 years old, much older than the typical baseball prospect.
