UPDATE: Lt. Greg Bueno with the Florida Highway Patrol confirms to Fox 4 that the 1990 Chevy pickup is a suspect vehicle in the hit and run death on Pine Island Road from Monday.

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - The Florida Highway Patrol confiscating an older model pick up truck from a condo complex on Victoria Drive, which is near Four Freedoms Park just off of Cape Coral Parkway.

Neighbors tell Four in Your Corner detectives have been on scene since this morning, then around 4pm this afternoon a towing company showed up with FHP troopers and Cape Police.

Officials have not yet confirmed what is going on, but the truck matches the description of a car involved in a deadly hit and run in North Fort Myers on Monday that killed 62 year old Roy Morrison.

FHP troopers have been searching for a 1988 to 1992 full size pick up truck with front end damage.

We want to be very clear, we do not know if this truck is related to that case, only that it fits the description.

Neighbors in the area say they did see front end damage to the truck that was towed away and detectives told them the truck was possibly related to a hit and run.

One neighbor even telling us detectives took a copy of their surveillance video from early Monday morning showing the truck pulling into the complex.
