FORT MYERS, Fla. - There's a possible break in the Zombicon shooting case.  A new tip is giving investigators some strong leads.

"This is far from a cold case. This is a very active investigation," says Trish Routte with Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers

It's been seven months since the shooting at Zombicon last October and there's still no arrest. One person was killed and several others injured in a stampede that had people running for their lives.

But after following up on more than 800 tips that have come in, one provided last week has proven to be very eye opening.

"So we are very optimistic. That person called back again today and is being very cooperative and is answering questions detectives have asked us to ask this particular tipster," says Routte.

As detectives narrow their investigation, residents are anxious for a resolution, upset this tragedy has put such a stain on the community.
