LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Seven people are behind bars after the Lee County Sheriffs Office Narcotics Unit finished an 8 month long investigation that included a million-dollar drug bust.
LCSO started the the investigation, referred to a operation "Taquiera Takedown", after busting a large scale cocaine and heroin drug trafficking ring in Bonita Springs that was run out of the now-defunct store Soccer Palace.
Thursday, deputies and law enforcement raided 10 homes and businesses. Over $1.3 million dollars worth of heroin, cocaine, hydrocodone pills and money were seized, along with 7 vehicles.
Investigators say the leaders of the organization were 38-year-old Erick Nino-Nunez, who runs two "Kwik Pick" stores "Soccer Palace"; and 36-year-old Enruque Elvira-Gonzalez, who investigators say provided protection, sold narcotics, and worked at the two shops owned by Erick Nunez-Nino. They were both arrested Thursday, along with five other suspects believed to be involved in the operation:

- 57-year-old Hector Lopez
- 44-year-old Sean McCann
- 42-year-old Jessica McCann
- 40-year-old Miguel Reulas
