FORT MYERS BEACH, FLa. - Fort Myers Beach has had an emergency water break at 3:15PM on January 28, 2016 at 4253 and 4263 Bay Beach Lane.
The water will be off for approximately 3 to 4 hours in this area. Once service is restored, all residents affected will be under a Precautionary Boil Water Notice. Therefore, as a precaution, we advise that all water for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient.
The Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until a bacteriological survey shows the water is safe to drink.
