CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- Authorities are asking for help identifying a person seen snooping in vehicles inside several Charlotte County communities.
According to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office, the person seen in these surveillance images was seen unlawfully entering vehicle in the early morning hours this Sunday.
The incidents happened in the Kings Gate, Suncoast Lakes, and River Club neighborhoods.
"I'm thinking I'm not going to park in the driveway anymore, that's for sure. And if I do I'll lock the car," said Dave Matthias, a Suncoast Lakes Resident.
The suspect entered only unlocked vehicles, removing loose change, and other small items.
"It appears that they are targeting gated communities, higher-end gated communities," said Lt. Brian Harrison, Charlotte County Sheriff's Office.
A white four door sedan was seen in the River Club earlier in the evening and unknown if related to this crime.
