FORT MYERS, Fla — The Mayor of Fort Myers confirmed to FOX 4 that President Donald Trump will make an official White House visit to the city on Friday.

Henderson says he's excited to host another president and referenced that Clinton came in 2016.

Administration officials say the president will give a speech tomorrow at the Caloosa Sound Convention center at 1:30 pm.

They say the event is not open to the public, and 400 guests will attend.

Administration officials say President Trump will talk about his continued efforts and commitment to protecting seniors' well-being.

He will also talk about his administration's action to strengthen medicare and social security and lower healthcare.

Social distancing will be enforced, and mask and hand sanitizer will be available.

Officials are encouraging those who feel ill to stay home.

President Trump will be hosting a MAGA rally later that day in Ocala, Fl, at 4:00 pm.

This will be the 14th visit to Florida for President Trump in 2020.
