LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- The Lee County School District Transportation Department will be presenting an information session next week for anyone interested in becoming a bus driver.
The session will discuss the importance of safety, timeliness, and courtesy within the transportation department. Afterward, school district employees will be on hand to assist in beginning the application process.
Job qualifications include a social security card, five years driving experience, and a satisfactory driving record. The school district will provide all the training required to receive a CDL certification to start driving school buses.
The information session will be held on Thursday, November 3rd from 6-8 p.m. at the Lee County Public Education Center, located at 2855 Colonial Boulevard in Fort Myers.
