CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Police were urging residents to avoid the area of Del Prado Boulevard near the Walmart Supercenter, after a bucket truck damaged several power lines Thursday.
According to Cape Coral Police, there were downed power lines and power poles near the intersection of Coral Point Drive and SE 16th Place.
That's where a bucket truck apparently began driving with the arm still extended,and got tangled in the wires.
Utility crews were on scene to make repairs, as several businesses were without power.
No injuries were reported.
