TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ---- The jackpot for the POWERBALL drawing has climbed to an estimated $306 million on Thursday.
POWERBALL jackpots start at $40 million and continue to grow until the jackpot is won. Players win by matching the five white balls and red POWERBALL. The odds of winning a prize in the game are an estimated one-in-24.87.
In addition to the jackpot, players have eight other ways to win non-jackpot prizes ranging from $4 to $1 million or up to $2 million if the ticket includes Power Play.
The next POWERBALL drawing will be Saturday, May 19 and with all Florida Lottery products, players must be 18 years or older to play.
