SANIBEL, Fla. — A bald eagle is under the careful watch of vets at the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW).
It was admitted yesterday after being found at a construction site in Estero covered in mud and concrete dust.
The eagle was assessed for injuries and given a bath.
Vets are also looking into what may be an older injury to its tongue because it sticks out of the side of its beak.
