NAPLES, Fla. — A dangling bird was saved by a group of good Samaritans. One man from Georgia was vacationing with his kids in Naples. That's when he came across a pelican that was wrapped in fishing line and dangling from a tree.
The family stopped their boat and were able to free the pelican, remove the fishing line, and get him to a wildlife hospital. The pelican is now recovering, and wildlife officials say he will be released soon.
