Florida Fish and Wildlife Officers conduct offshore inspection

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Florida Fish and Wildlife Officers were conducting offshore inspections.

Officers examined a freezer hold of a shrimp boat and found their haul was more than 350 snappers which are over the bag limit.

Officer found additional potential federal fisheries violations.

Evidence was seized and the results of the investigation will be forwarded to NOAA's Office of Law Enforcement.
