LaBELLE, Fla. -- To help protect our paradise, the South Florida Water Management District wants to hear from you on Tuesday about improving our water quality.
They're looking for new water quality treatment technologies that'll be used at the Caloosahatchee Reservoir.
The reservoir will keep Lake Okeechobee water from going into the Caloosahatchee River.
There will be several public meetings to give input. The next one is Tuesday, January 21 at the Hendry County Extension office in LaBelle from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. That's located at 1085 Pratt Boulevard.
More information on the C-43 West Basin Storage Reservoir study is available HERE.
Those that are unable to attend the meeting can watch a live stream of the meeting at SFWMD.gov.
