NAPLES, Fla. — A family clothing company in Naples is celebrating World Sea Turtle Day on Tuesday.
The Lazy Turtle started when the Elwell family moved to Naples and discovered sea turtle nests on the beach.
Founder Megan Elwell says their sun-safe apparel is made in Florida and friendly toward local wildlife and beaches.
Also, 10% of Lazy Turtle's profit is donated to Sea Turtle Conservancy and their efforts across the globe.
Sea turtle nesting season runs from May to October in SWFL.
Nests are currently roped off with caution tape at Seagate Beach in Naples.
