LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- E8, one of Southwest Florida Eagle Cam's beloved eaglets, is fighting an infection in the broken bone of the right leg.
Veterinarians at CROW animal hospital say he's now being treated with antibiotics. And the good news is E8 continues to eat on its own and is perching.
E8 has been undergoing rehab at CROW ever since he was attacked by an owl at his nest several weeks ago.
