COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- A new reward is being offered in the December shooting of a mother outside a Naples home.

Just after midnight on December 13, Danielle Trevino drove to her mother’s house in the 3700 block of Randall Boulevard near the Orange Tree area of Naples to pick up her child.  As she approached the front door, Trevino was ambushed by gunfire, and was shot several times in the stomach and left forearm.

She was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, but fortunately has recovered over the last few months.

Now an anonymous donor is adding $14,000 to Crime Stoppers $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who shot Trevino that morning.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting of Trevino is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).  All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 from Crime Stoppers and $14,000 from the anonymous donor.  Tips may also be made online at www.southwestfloridacrimestoppers.com or by texting a tip to CRIMES (274637) Keyword: REWARD.
