CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Crime scene tape surrounded the 7-Eleven sitting on the corner of Gleason Parkway and Santa Barbara Boulevard early Wednesday morning.
Cape Coral Police say an armed unmasked man robbed the store around 2 a.m. They say no one was injured in the robbery, but the crook is still on the loose.
The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and light blue ripped jeans. He is described as being approximately 40-50 years old, with a thin build, short gray hair and blue eyes.
The store was closed for a time during the investigation, but was reopened around 7am.
