UPDATE: Three missing Naples boys found safe

UPDATE --- The Collier County Sheriff's Office says the boys have been found and are safe.

NAPLES, Fla. -- The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding three young brothers who were reported missing after they failed to show up for elementary school in East Naples on Thursday.

Rafael Angel Aguilera, 9; Adam Daniel Aguilera, 8; and Alfonzo Isaiah Aguilera, 7, failed to show up for class at Avalon Elementary School.

Detectives said the boys left their residence on Bayshore Drive for school around 7:10 a.m.

Detectives said the boys were spotted at East Naples Community Park around 8:30 a.m. by a park employee. The employee made contact with the boys and asked them why they weren’t in school. The boys ran from the employee. The employee contacted his supervisor, who then notified law enforcement.

Detectives said the boys are described as having dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. Rafael and
Adam are 4 feet 6 inches tall and Alfonzo is 4 feet 3 inches tall. One boy was wearing a blue polo shirt and the other two were wearing red polo shirts. All three were wearing khaki shorts. They are possibly traveling on a bike and scooter.

Anyone with information on the boys’ whereabouts is asked to call the Collier County Sheriff’s Office at 239.252.9300.

The Sheriff’s Office asks anyone who happens to be in the area of East Naples to keep an eye out for the boys. The Sheriff’s Office is also asking any businesses with fleet out in East Naples or making deliveries in the area to ask their drivers also to keep an eye out.
