CAPE CORAL, Fl. --  An investigation by the Vice, Intelligence & Narcotics Unit resulted in two arrests and the discovery of heroin, crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia used to manufacture crack cocaine.

Detectives with the VIN Unit conducted drug buys from 1020 NE 8th Terrace, Apt. C and obtained a search warrant. Just prior to the service of the warrant 27-year-old Javon Peterson was detained outside, having just sold crack cocaine to 27-year-old Christopher Rounds who still had the crack in his lap.

SWAT made entry and cleared the residence. The subsequent search revealed additional crack cocaine, heroin, and the paraphernalia for manufacturing crack cocaine. Rounds was arrested for possession of cocaine, while Peterson was charged with possession and sale of both cocaine and heroin, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were transported to the Lee County Jail.
