UPDATE (1:30PM) -- All lanes of Winkler Avenue have reopened after six vehicles were involved in a large crash that injured three.
Police say a commercial vehicle failed to notice other vehicles that were stopped for a school bus. The commercial vehicle slammed into the rear of one vehicle, setting off a chain reaction through the line.
Three people were transported to Lee Memorial with non-life threatening injuries.
The school bus was not involved in any collisions and had no injuries.

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Police are asking drivers to avoid Winkler Avenue around Alderman's Walk due to a crash with serious injuries.
According to the Fort Myers Police Department, eastbound traffic on Winkler Avenue is blocked off at Alderman’s Walk.
They are asking drivers to avoid the area and use Colonial Boulevard as an alternate route.
