CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- A serious crash shut down roads in Cape Coral overnight.
It happened just after midnight near the intersection of Pelican Boulevard and Cape Coral Parkway.
Roads are now back open, but they were closed for most of the overnight hours while police investigated.
A nearby neighbor said she heard a loud crash and when she walked outside, she saw a car on fire briefly. No word on injuries or what caused the crash.
