Dozens of families in Polk County were evacuated early Wednesday due to a nearby fire at a pallet plant in Haines City.
Haines City Fire Department is on the scene at Monison Pallets, located at 3100 US Highway 17.
The call came in just before 2:40 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19.
US Highway 17, 92 is currently closed in both directions while crews battle the large fire.
A Haines City Firefighter was hurt while running a hose to the fire. His injuries are minor.
Just before 8 a.m., the evacuation order was lifted.
