FORT MYERS, FLA.- The owner of Run McGregor, John Rinkenbaugh, told Fox 4 he saw a tornado rip by this afternoon.
It left downed trees and powerlines, damaged buildings, and flooded roads in its wake.
John Rinkenbaugh said he'd never seen anything like it;
"There's all this noise right outside the store and I go up to the front, look out the window and see all this debris swirling around McGregor...It was so thick you couldn't see across the street, it was that thick."
His words of advice? Take advisories seriously.
"When those warnings go off, when your cell phone blows up and tells you there's a tornado warning, you need to be ready."
