COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- Naples police arrested siblings on multiple felon auto burglary and grand theft charges.
Police say 26-year-old Bobby Joe Austin and his sister, 31-year-old Patricia Franklin were found in Conty's Motel where they discovered a garbage bag filled with stolen purses, cellular phones, and other stolen property in a dumpster.
Police followed Austin and Franklin and witnessed Bobby Joe Austin Jr. drop Patricia Franklin off in the 400 block of 5ht Ave. Police say Franklin began pulling on vehicles door handles in an attempt to gain entry.
Police later witnessed Franklin removing a blue Makita hammer drill valued at $750.00 and Stihl concrete saw valued at $1,000.00.
Naples Crime Suppression Team moved in and placed Bobby Joe Austin Jr. and Patricia Franklin under arrest and transported the brother and sister duo back to the Naples Police Department for questioning. Bobby Joe Austin and Patricia Franklin were ultimately transported and booked at the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.
