FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Slide The City now has a new date and location, after roadblocks delayed the event in Southwest Florida.
This week, the event's co-owner met with Fort Myers city leaders, and the state has reportedly agreed that the event can be held on the Edison Bridge -- its original location -- on December 17th.
Permits however still must be approved, so it's not a done-deal yet.
Meanwhile, refunds are still available for the original date that was set for Saturday.
