LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. -- A Lehigh Acres woman is facing drug possession charges after deputies found her with an unusual combination of substances and a foaming mouth.

28-year-old Brittney Wilkey is facing one count of Synthetic Narcotic Possession and one count of Drug Equipment Possession.

According to a Lee County Sheriff's report, deputies were called to the intersection of Gunnery Road and 9th Street West on Sunday afternoon about a vehicle crash in which two people stumbled away from the scene with foaming mouths.

A deputy located the pair a few blocks away and questioned one of them, later identified as Wilkey, about whether they had drugs in their backpack.

Wilkey admitted having synthetic drugs known as "spice" and handed a bag of it to the deputy.  Further inspection of the backpack turned up a container of catnip that Wiley admitted to mixing with the spice drug in order to resell it.

Wilkey was booked into the Lee County Jail.  She remains in custody on $31,500 bond.

She has two previous arrests in Lee County for drug possession last year.
