Start time changed for Game 2 of series due to weather

Posted

Here's an important heads up for Cubs and Indians fans; there has been a change in the start time for Game 2, airing on Fox 4.

There's a threat of rain Wednesday night in Cleveland, so Game 2 of the World Series has been moved up to 7 p.m. from the previously scheduled time of 8 p.m.

Fox's pregame coverage will begin at 6:30 p.m., cutting short Fox 4's 6 p.m. news hour.

Cleveland came away with a convincing win in game one on Tuesday, beating the Cubs 6-0.  Cleveland pitcher Corey Kluber got the win, pitching six innings while striking out nine Chicago hitters.

Indians catcher Roberto Perez dished up a lot of the offense, hitting two home runs and bringing in four of the Indians' six total runs.
