3-year-old girl abducted in Apopka found safe

APOPKA, Fla. — An Amber Alert has been canceled for a 3-year-old girl who authorities say was abducted in Apopka on Monday morning.

Madeline Mejia, 3, was last seen in the 600 block of East Orange Street in a black two-door sedan with Texas plates. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, blue jeans and pink shoes, according to FDLE.

Madeline is 3 feet tall, weighs 40 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

The sedan has lightly tinted windows and was being driven by a white-Hispanic man with a blue shirt and jeans on. FDLE says he has long brown hair and facial hair.
