AMBER ALERT CANCELLED: Missing 15-year-old Florida girl found safe

UPDATE (8:50AM) -- The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has cancelled the Amber Alert for Sophia Diaz. The girl was found safe.

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued an Amber Alert for a missing 15-year-old Florida girl.

Authorities say Sophia Diaz is a white female, 5'7" tall and weighing 155 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes, wears braces and has a tattoo on her left shoulder depicting a rose.

Sophia was last seen in the 2800 block of College View Drive in Melbourne.

The teenager may be in the company of 37-year-old Karis Diaz and 33-year-old Curtis Clemons.

Karis is a white female, 5'5" tall with brown hair and blue eyes.

Clemons is a white male, 6'3" tall and weighing 200 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes and may have a beard.

They may be traveling in a 2006 white Ford F-550 with Florida tag number IBI-V68. Authorities say it is a recreational vehicle.

The FDLE did not indicate the relationship between Sophia, Karis or Clemons.

If you see the 15-year-old, the couple or their vehicle, or know where they can be found, you are asked to immediately call 911 or the Palm Bay Police Department at 321-952-3456.
