GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- University of Florida released an alert saying there is a possibly armed suspect on campus Friday afternoon.
According to the school, the possible shooting happened at the College of Veterinary Medicine.

The suspect is described as a white male standing about 5-foot-9, blue eyes, short brown curly hair and was seen wearing a gray shirt and a pair of khaki pants. The suspect is possibly armed with a 9 mm gun, UF said.

The university went on to clarify that he is not an active shooter. The suspect is wanted for "possibly target shooting" in the wooded area near the College of Veterinary Medicine.
