BARTOW, Fla. - The Bartow Police Department is currently searching for a missing 11-year-old boy.
Tyler Tinsley was last seen in the area of Mann Road and Lila Street in Bartow.
He didn't return home after leaving Bartow Middle School on Thursday.
Officers began to search known areas that the child frequents and known contacts with no results.
Tyler was spotted in the area of Mann Road and Lila Street at around 8:49 p.m., but the witness said he was walking alone and did not appear to be in distress.
He was last seen wearing a dark blue hoodie jacket, blue Bartow Middle School shirt, khaki cargo shorts and black tennis shoes.
Tyler is about 4 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 87 pounds. He has blue eyes and light blonde hair which is short and crew cut.
Tyler may be carrying a dark colored backpack with super heroes figures screen printed on the outside.
