FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - A crane collapsed onto a worker at a construction site in Florida.
Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Greg May tells news outlets the incident happened around 9 a.m. near Fort Lauderdale Beach.
Television video showed the collapsed crane.
May says the agency's Tactical Rescue Team freed the man by lifting the broken crane.
The man was taken to a hospital and details about his condition were not immediately available.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
