Florida Assistant Principal arrested after overdosing on 'special cookies'

HOLIDAY, Fla. -- A Pasco County Assistant Principal has been arrested for her cookie recipe.

Pasco County Sheriff's Office says Donna Lynch Haff, 50, overdosed on cookies made with cannabis oil and was released from the hospital on November 14, 2016.

Deputies made contact with Haff at her home where she was taken into custody.

Haff has been employed with the school district since 2008. She is currently the Anclote High assistant principal and on administrative leave due to this incident.

Haff has no previous disciplinary history.
