LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- It's official, Florida is now considered the 3rd most dangerous state in America.
A recent Wallet Hub report ranks all the states by how safe they are, and Florida was placed at #48 in the country. And it's not because of gators, or flesh-eating bacteria.
Wallet Hub looked at five different kinds of safety: Personal & Residential Safety, Financial Safety, Road Safety, Workplace Safety, and Emergency Preparedness.
Louisiana and Mississippi are the only two states with a worse safety score. Minnesota topped the list as the safest state.
Florida did however get a high score among states with the lowest bullying-incidence rate
