CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) - Former Florida governor and presidential candidate Jeb Bush is endorsing Tampa Bay-area Congressman David Jolly for re-election.
A news release sent Monday by Jolly's campaign staff said Bush is throwing his "full support" behind the Pinellas County Republican and will campaign for him.
Jolly supported Bush in the presidential primary.
Jolly faces retired Marine Mark Bircher in the Aug. 30 Republican primary. The winner of that contest will face former Gov. Charlie Crist, who is running as a Democrat.
