FLORIDA-- Major League Baseball’s Houston Astros are helping with relief efforts as the team is stranded away from home.
Because of the flooding in Houston, the team will be playing a three game “Home” series in Tampa starting Tuesday.
They’re also expected to play another home series in Florida on Friday.
And a Facebook post yesterday, the team announced they will be donating four-million dollars to relief efforts.
Additionally, the team's owner has announced his engineering company will be collecting donations at the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach.
It's where the team has spring training.
The team says they will be collecting donations there until September 6th.
