A Pasco County deputy and his K9 pursued and caught two stolen vehicle suspects Saturday, and the whole thing was caught on body cam video.
It happened on Feb. 24 as they were pursuing a stolen Ford Expedition. The vehicle crashed into a telephone pole on Denton Ave.
The driver ran and Deputy Carmack sent his K9 Shep to chase him. Meanwhile, the passenger tried to run but was quickly detained by Carmack.
The deputy then made the passenger run with him to locate the K9 and the driver. While running, they saw the driver dragging Shep further onto the property, continuing to try to escape.
When Deputy Carmack caught up, the driver gave up and was arrested without further incident.
