Looking for a new pet? Can't decide on a cat or a dog? Maybe you're allergic or you want a unique pet to fill your home with love? The Humane Society of Tampa has the pet for you.

According to The Humane Society of Tampa Bay's Facebook page, Batman the pig is a 5-month-old Potbelly pig who was dropped off at a grooming business but his owner never picked him up. He's currently getting lots of love and attention from the staff at the shelter.

They say he'll be up for adoption soon.

Need some convincing?

  • Pigs don't shed, so you won't have to worry about dog hair or cat hair piling up in your home.
  • Their hair is hypoallergenic.
  • They're easily trained. They can quickly learn tricks and be potty trained indoors.

Give Batman a chance, he's the kind of bacon you can hug!

The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is open for adoptions from noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Adoptions end 30 minutes before closing. The shelter is located at 3607 North Armenia Avenue in Tampa.
