SAINT LUCIE, Fla.- Tim Tebow's first game with the St. Lucie Mets on Tuesday was delayed due to the rain.
An hour before first pitch, storms rolled through St. Lucie and the game was rained out.
The team's general manager says even with the delay, the team has seen the 'Tebow effect' on their fan base and increased activity.
Tebow is scheduled to make his debut with the St. Lucie Mets on Wednesday.
